Sunday, June 8, 20032 fast 2 furiousWatched it last night with Mags, Tom, and Jeff. We were gonna go to the drive in but uhm...my amp is broke *doh*! I need to get 30 10microFarad capacitors to fix it-- I guess its time for a trip to radio shack. The movie was entertaining, albeit unrealistic-- but I guess going to a movie isn't about reality anyways. I thought Tyrese did an great job acting, even better than his caucasian counterpart, who I felt dragged the movie down. But it may just be that Tyrese found a role that he identified with/acts all the time, and as a result, didn't need to really *act* at all. Afterwards we went and checked out different cars on the web. Jeff's looking to buy an Audi A4, and come to think of it-- maybe I should consider buying a new car as well. After all, I'm getting a new job in two weeks, might as well start on a new page. But I guess I'm torn between the many checkpoints in my life that I still want to save for, and the desire to be young, reckless with my money, and enjoying life. I'll probably end up socking what little money I have away, until next year at least :). Then I'll see if I want to buy an A4/BMW...mmmmm...to dream. posted @ 10:37 AM PST [link] |
