Saturday, March 4, 2006Teeth are out, pics are bigger
All four wisdom teeth are gone- bleh! But thankfully much much smoother than I had expected.
Spent most of Saturday lounging around and resting, and then some light real estate window shopping w/the realtor during the afternoon. We're seriously considering putting a bid down.
New pics of Duke have been posted up in the photos section and now that I've got 20GB of space I figured the thumbs deserved to be redone @ 320 pixel width. Looks a lot better!

I hope my wisdom teeth extractions aren't painful.

Fox parent News Corp. is opening an online cell-phone entertainment store called Mobizzo today. The service will offer $5.99 monthly subscriptions as well as a la carte downloads of screensavers and ring tones catered to the tastes of young consumers -- one ring tone is the sound of a character from Fox's "Family Guy" cartoon passing gas

Comments work again.
Looks like it was the cgiparse stuff that I had compiled on Pauli's machine. Oh well, it's not all that necessary and is likely the most troublesome aspect of installing the greymatter anticomment spam hack. I ended up replacing it with some perl. When I get some time I should probably post a script only version of the comments hack.

Migration complete (sort of)
Looks like my comments greymatter hack is broken. :-(
Aside from that things are good! I'll be moving over wendy's & duke's sites over ASAP + finishing up the wedding site.
The weekend The rest of the weekend was filled with some moving, some looking into real estate, some lounging...
The sad thing was that single family homes that were up for sale in the Santa Clara region within 700-750k were either too close to a railroad/freeway/flightpath/roller coaster or just completely run down in a strange neighborhood.
In the end, we looked at a place near Valley Fair. Really really nice neighborhood and house, but too far away for Wendy.
Wish that companies would spread out a bit more...
While I'm on the topic of wishing for stuff.
Website wishlist: One thing I'd like to add to the site now that it's completely mine would be some kind of cameraphone/videophone photoblog. Maybe have it integrated w/the sprintpcs stuff, so that when I upload the photo and send it via share, it auto enters a blog entry w/the posted share.
